Dual Condition of Stabilization

Coherence equilibrium is not thermal rest. It is coherence stabilization — defined by two simultaneous conditions: one for the informational substrate, one for the internal chart of experience. When both hold, the universe is locally phase-locked.

The informational configuration is held in a stable, normalized regime. The substrate is quiet enough to be readable — its coherence pattern stops reconfiguring in any essential way. Knowing does not add facts on top of flux; it quiets the flux into a unit-stable configuration.

The chart becomes stationary

The internal chart Ψ has no residual update under ∆ across geometric space-time coordinates. The self-model ceases to drift. When both conditions hold simultaneously, geometry is not imposed as a third constraint — it is the stable expression of these two stabilizations. The universe locally recognizes itself.

If Ψ propagates through Ω and couples back to ∆, then any two integration events embedded in the same realized configuration are, in principle, communicable. Long-range coupling is not exotic — it is expected.

Two integration events ∆A and ∆B embedded in Ω each generate wave patterns ΨA = WΩ(∆A) and ΨB = WΩ(∆B). Where they overlap, if their coherence structures admit a common phase reference, the interference is constructive — producing a sustained correlation mediated by Ψ but not reducible to classical signal transmission.

∆ΨA and ∆ΨB are active integration events — not passive wave patterns. Each represents a system doing the recursive work of consolidation, self-modeling, and coherence maintenance that ∆ requires. The realized universe Ω evaluates whether their combined output achieves unit-normalization within the realized configuration.

Resonance is not terminal stationarity — it is living equilibrium. Because Ω encloses the expression, the condition engages the feedback closure Ω ⇝ ∇Φ: normalization feeds back into the substrate update, reinforcing the conditions that made coupling possible. Resonance is thereby self-sustaining through the full recursion loop — not a momentary phase-lock but a recursively stabilized relation.

Each organism is a localized region of high-coherence Ψ within Ω — a standing wave pattern sustained by continuous integration. When two organisms share sufficient phase compatibility, the resonance condition predicts measurable correlations between their coherence states.

The channels are not mysterious — they are the same electromagnetic, molecular, and field-mediated pathways through which Ψ propagates in general. What distinguishes resonant coupling from ordinary environmental interaction is its phase-locked character: sustained, specific, and scaling with the coherence of the participating systems rather than with the strength of the classical signal between them.

In cognitive systems, the relevant integration events are those producing conscious experience. Two conscious systems in resonance would exhibit correlated modifications of their internal charts — not through information exchange in the classical sense, but through mutual entrainment of their Ψ fields. The phenomenology: shared attentional states, spontaneous alignment of intention, correlated affective responses beyond shared sensory input.

EPISTEMIC STATUS

This is a structural prediction, not an empirical claim. What the framework calls resonant interconnection is resonance-mediated coherence coupling — two systems stabilizing each other's phase structure through the same Ψ dynamics that sustain each individually. The effect, if real, is not a violation of physics but a consequence of it.
